Controller;

Client Services

Colleen Janatello

Colleen is a K-State alumni earning her bachelor’s in accounting and management. Since graduating, she has worked in various industries like banking, public accounting, and a few tech companies. She was drawn to Fortiviti because of the array of clients they service and felt she could expand her portfolio while educating fellow employees on her experiences with those industries. Her passion is small business and working here has solidified her theory that having a knowledgeable Controller is vital to any company because they have their hands dipped in all areas of the business essentially.

Colleen once held her CPA license, but has since not renewed due to her realization that the tax world does not pique her interest. She is also very involved in fundraising at her children’s schools, and her church where she is the Annual Fundraiser Coordinator.

Much of Colleen and her husband’s lives revolve around their 3 children and K-State. Their 2 boys followed the tradition of attending their alma mater, and they enjoy visiting the campus and catching a game with them. When the kids are away, Colleen enjoys taking walks with her and husband and dog, Chase Valentino, around the neighborhood. Often, they are hosting friends for a dinner or a get together, unless Kenny Chesney is in town, then she is always in the stands!
