Adam is a Wildcat, earning his bachelor's degree in accounting from Kansas State University. His interest in financials and knack with numbers always had him believing he would be in the financial world somehow. As a previous coworker of Shauna's, he has continued to follow her journey in creating Fortiviti and has watched the growth of the company over time. He has always admired the work produced at Fortiviti, and when he saw the opportunity to join the team, it was an "aha" moment for him.

As a co-owner of a business himself, he sees the value in helping others like him. His company, Froning Farms Bison Jerky, produces 100% all-natural beef sticks that have been years in the making. Currently, he is working alongside his business partner to get their products into grocery stores. Adam also has a passion for community service – every year, he and his son, Benjamin, participate in the Adopt a Family program; it’s a great opportunity to impart compassion on his son. Adam also coaches for Special Olympics and participates in a fundraising workout that focuses on raising awareness and the dismantling of human trafficking rings in the US.

Adam, Benjamin, and their silver lab named Boomer, like to go to the dog park, on bike rides, and hiking in the mountains together. Many of their weekends are spent at soccer fields or football stadiums for Benjamin's competitive sports teams. When given the chance, Adam likes to go watch live music and explore the KC foodie scene.
