Project Accountant

Dan Huntington

Dan graduated from Kansas State University with degrees in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Economics. He began his accounting career with KPMG, where he gained auditing experience across a wide range of industries. He then spent time in the Internal Audit department at Seaboard Corporation, which allowed him to travel to some pretty unique places (South Africa, Bermuda, Guyana and Guymon, Oklahoma). He then spent 8 years at General Electric, where he worked in the Treasury department in Overland Park. In 2015, he joined Fortiviti on a full-time basis.

Dan received his CPA certification while at KPMG. He is also the chair of his church’s administrative council. Recently, he completed the Leadership Spring Hill program.

Dan is married to Shauna Huntington, the owner and founder of Fortiviti. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team, working on home improvement projects (which is good because there is never a lack of things to do when living out in the country) and reading (biographies are his favorite). Fun fact: Dan has read biographies of every U.S. President from Washington to George H.W. Bush. He loves working at Fortiviti with a great group of people and helping to make our clients be the best that they can be.
