Elyse attended the University of Kansas where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting. She went on to earn a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri – Kansas City the following year. Elyse started her accounting career as an intern at Fortiviti before going on to work in public accounting and obtaining her CPA. She was an auditor for 6 years and officially rejoined the Fortiviti Team in March 2021.

Elyse and her sister are avid crafters attending 1-2 craft fairs on a given weekend. Being an accountant has helped her manage, budget, and run her side hustle.

Elyse enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her two golden-doodles, Harper and Hayes. She loves traveling and is currently trying to visit all the National Parks in the United States. Recently, her and her husband bought land and are currently building the house of their dreams. Their dogs really appreciate the open room to run!
