Kelsey Darnell, CPA
Kelsey attended Seward County Community College/Area Technical School where she earned her associate degree in business. She then transferred to Kansas State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accounting. Her whole accounting journey began with an aptitude test she took in her junior year of high school.
Kelsey obtained her CPA and worked in public accounting as an auditor for 7 years before joining Fortiviti in October 2021. Understanding her clients’ operations and helping her clients with their needs is what Kelsey enjoys most about her work.
When not working, Kelsey recharges by taking a nap every once in a while. Sometimes she is accompanied by her two cats, Arlo and Otis. They tend to keep her pretty busy when they are up and playing around the house. Baking is another passion of hers. Her friends tend to reap the benefits when she brings over an abundance of leftover treats to a gathering.
