Mandy started out her college career with an interest in marketing at Kansas State University. Over the course of her college experience, she switched her undergraduate degree to accounting. Now, it only makes sense that Mandy ended up as the VP of Business Development at an accounting firm. After getting her Master’s in Accounting at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and obtaining her CPA, Mandy spent 5 years as a financial statement auditor at a public accounting firm. After public accounting, Mandy went onto the Investment Banking world, where she led buyers in the successful acquisitions of small businesses. What she saw most in her time in the mergers & acquisition world was the lack of good financial reporting, which devalued these businesses significantly. Fast forward to Fortiviti, Mandy loves that she gets to help business owners put good processes into place and provide them with reliable financial information that will help them in so many aspects of their business.

Always drawn to social events, Mandy enjoys networking groups and meeting new people. Mandy is involved with several close-nit networking groups, is on the board of her community HOA, and is the Chair of the ACG Next (Association of Corporate Growth) committee.

Mandy enjoys being outside, being around friends and family, and cooking. Her and her husband had a bouncing baby girl in 2023 who keeps them on their toes. Mandy is quite the social butterfly and party planner. She likes to try local spots and have new experiences.
